“French through Acting” Workshop

Event description: 

The Department of French, with support from the Molière Fund in Memory of June Guicharnaud, is hosting a weekend-long “French Through Acting” workshop with actor/ director/ teacher Charles Mayer (known to many for his portrayal of “Robert Taylor” in the PBS “French in Action” series).

Hours of operation: 

The workshop runs from October 16 through October 18. Participants are expected to attend all workshop sessions:

Friday, October 16               4 - 6 PM and 7 - 10 PM
Saturday, October 17         10 AM - 12 noon and 1 - 4 PM
Sunday, October 18            10 AM - 12 noon and 1 - 4 PM

We welcome applicants with or without theater experience who are Yale undergraduates and who have a level of proficiency in French equal to or beyond that of L4.
