Dear French Department Alumni,

We hope you are safe and well in these turbulent times.

Last year the Newsletter took a gap year,  and this year there’s a pandemic… After spring break, we began teaching and meeting on Zoom.  Here is one of our gatherings of faculty, graduate students, normaliens, French majors, and staff – our conviviality, confined to friendly squares, was undaunted.

We plan to send you our traditional Newsletter in Fall 2021, in a repaired world.
