Embassy of France in the US’s Innovation Policy Internship Program.

March 15, 2019

Please see below message from the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France:

We are pleased to officially launch the 2019 Innovation Policy Internship Program.

The Embassy of France in the United States is proud to offer the opportunity to students from your institutions to engage in a 8 week internship in France.

This unique program offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in renowned public institutions (including the Préfecture de Région Occitanie, le Conseil Départemental de la Haute-Garonne, Toulouse Métropole, le Bureau du Médiateur européen, le Conseil de développement de la ville de Strasbourg etc.) in Toulouse and Strasbourg.  The small cohort of selected American students will engage in French policy-making and public policy innovation within multicultural teams to solve complex problems facing these regions.

This program is designed to inspire a new cohort of policy leaders committed to promoting innovation and change in the public sector.

Please note that French proficiency is not a decisive criterion.

Selected students will be working closely with an English-speaking French intern during their internship, who will help them understand the administrative and social context of the host institution.

We would be extremely grateful to you if you could share this information within your campus community, as this program could be of interest to a wide range of students across disciplines.

More information on the program and the application form can be found on this page.

Applications may be submitted until Wednesday April 3rd, 2019.

Best,

Christel OUTREMAN and Romain DEVAUX
