Onyx Brunner is also the 2020 recipient of the James T. King’s  James T. King Prize for Distinction in the Senior Essay for “Fanon : l’existentialiste noir.” In the words of his advisor, Sterling Professor Alice Kaplan,  “This remarkable essay on Fanon’s contribution to existentialism, written by Brunner in isolation from his classmates and his teachers (aside from Zoom!), with no normal incentive of a traditional grade, resulted in a superb piece of work with moments of great eloquence.”

Félicitations, Onyx!
