Welcoming Nichole Gleisner, YFS Managing Editor and Lecturer

We are pleased to welcome Nichole Gleisner as the new manager of Yale French Studies. She holds a PhD from Duke University (2014), writing a dissertation on Apollinaire, Cendrars, and the French Soldier-Poets of the first World War (2011). She is the poetry editor and publisher of New Haven Review, a literary magazine. She translated the autobiography of Benoîte Groult, My Escape for Other Press (2012). Nichole will also teach the literary translation track. She has taught more recently at the University of Connecticut at Storrs.
