Abigail Fields
Abigail Fields graduated from the Honors program at the University of Kansas in 2017, with a B.A. in French and a B.S in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. Before coming to Yale, she spent a year in Marseille, France as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
Abigail’s current work explores the intersections between literature, science and medicine in 18th- and 19th-century France. She is also interested in Naturalism, ecocriticism, animal studies, and translation. She is involved in the Environmental Humanities Initiative at Yale.
