Jérémy Bingham is a French Lector from the École normale supérieure (ENS), Paris. After a Bachelor’s in Law with a minor in Philosophy at Paris Sciences et Lettres University, he pursued a Master’s in Legal Theory at ENS.

Jérémy’s research attitude has consistently been to explore and test inter- and intra-disciplinary boundaries. His Master’s thesis centered on the interplay between two bodies of international law, namely environmental law and the law of armed conflict, aiming at dissolving the assumption of mutual exclusion between the two.

In addition to – hopefully one day in conjuction with – Law, Jérémy is drawn to such interdisciplinary (or non-disciplinary) fields as Queer Theory and Cultural Studies. An intrusive thought of his is the relevance and social utility of his research, and of research in general.
