Maïa Tellit Hawad
Maïa Tellit Hawad holds a MA in Contemporary Philosophy from Panthéon-Sorbonne Université (Paris 1). Her research revolves around the imaginaries of the Sahara in French Africanist sciences and the intersection of colonial, racial, and extractivist dynamics within the current administration of central Sahara. Her current work focuses on nomadic becomings in contemporary Tuareg societies. Since 2023, she has been part of the teaching team of the Research Studio RS6 in the Environmental Architecture program at the Royal College of Art in London.
