Saly Touré
Saly holds a BA in Middle Eastern and North African Studies and Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London (2020). She is a graduate student at the École Normale Supérieure de Paris (ENS) and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), specializing in interdisciplinary social sciences with a focus on political and historical sociology. Her current research examines the individual trajectories and collective fate of former Algerian deputies in the French National Assembly following Algeria’s independence in 1962. Saly is particularly interested in combining archival and ethnographic methods to explore historical narratives and contemporary experiences in postcolonial contexts.
